I created a new admin account and I can't find terminal anywhere. My old admin account is deleted. What do I do?!?!

I went Apps->Utilities-> and Terminal is not there. I searched for it, and it didn't show up.

Can I download it from somewhere.

I'm running 10.3.9

Don't have my system disk btw.

Sounds like you really messed up your system. Did you try renaming the folder owned by your admin account? That is a NO-NO.

You could try iTerm I think. I just wonder how far you'll get without an admin account.

Your priority should be to backup any files you want to keep. I get a feeling you are going to need to reinstall OS X.

you could download X11 pckg and use the X11 term...and use iTerm...but other than that, try finding an install CD. There should be really cheap used ones that you can find now that Leopard is coming out

No I didn't change any of the file names. On my old admin acct I dragged the terminal icon to the desktop for quick access, didn't realize that in turn that dragged it out of the utilities folder. So anyway, created a new admin account and deleted the old. In the longrun terminal.app wasn't on the new account. It was deleted when I deleted my old acct.

Btw. I do have an admin acct xstep.

You can use Pacifist to extract it from your install disk.
