Got my new MacBook, 2.4 Ghz, 2 gig ram, 250 HD at xmas
Absolutely adore it as it is a welcome return back to Macs after mucking around with PC's
But installed Photoshop and the thing is running at a snails pace, CPU temp is 65 degrees, which i assume is ok.
Could it be a spyware or virus issue?
I know photoshop is a big install (about a gig) and the HD isn't teh fastest spinner in the world but it's can't be that either? Got 195 gig spare so far
Got Firefox, Itunes and Photoshop running at the same time which shouldn't be that much of a problem.
Anyone suggest anything? Or should I take it into the apple store?

Have you tried running First Aid from DiskUtility.app? You may need to repair your disk and/or disk permissions. If you repair Disk Permissions it could take a long time so have patience. But this could resolve your sluggish problems.
