Remove drop shadow from Desktop Icons

Your Mac's Specs
13" MBP - 2.7 Ghz, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM.
I just upgraded to Snow Leopard and see that all my desktop icons have drop shadow in the icon title text. How can I remove it? You could turn it off in Leopard.

I have the same problem, i hate these shadow, i cant read the name of my files... its ornery
