Imac 21 icon dissapeared

Hi new Mac owner here
Plugged in working a treat well pleased.
Pull cupboard out to reroute wifi cable touch keyboard and icons have dropped off the bottom of the screen.
If i touch the f3 button they appear but now take a double left click to work each icon and as soon as the icon opens the whole row of icons drops down again.
So i am assuming i have accidentally touched a button or several!
Any ideas how to get it back to normal.

Click on the Apple in the upper left corner of your screen. Now click on the label that says "Dock". Click on the statement that says: "Turn Hiding Off". That will keep your Dock visible at all times.

You somehow turned Dock hiding on, possibly when you moved the keyboard.
