Civilisation Game Problem

Hi, I have newly installed the "Civilisation V" gamepack to my macbook. But there are some problems happening with software and game runing so could any one help me to overcome of this issues?

1- Caracter distortion - most or the caracters like identification on the begining of game, buttons and etc. are not clear to read.

2- Even clicking after the "single player" button the game says "This can ve caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check http://appdbwinehq.org for tips about running this application. If this problem is not present under Windows and has not been reported yet, you can report it at http://bugs.winehq.org."

End game quits...

I take it from your post that you're attempting to run the game using WINE. Some games will run under WINE, others will not. The character distortion is usually caused by the video rendition. Under WINE, video may not work well or at all.

You can try using Crossover Game trial to see if it will run OK with that. However, it's probably best to install Windows using the Boot Camp assistant so that the game can run natively.
