ICANN 60 day lock

I was commissioned to create a website for a small company a few weeks ago, and it was strongly suggested to use Weebly [why he was so insistent on that junk, I don't know.] After finally getting through to him about the lack of FTP on Weebly, I convinced him to transfer to GoDaddy. The only problem is ICANN's 60 day transfer lock, which denies me the ability to transfer the domain name until 60 days after registration. This is a HUGE problem considering the fact that I am on a deadline. Both hosts are currently being paid for. But I can't use Weebly for lack of FTP and I can't use GoDaddy for another month or so. This is ridiculous, I know. If anyone has any good suggestions, PLEASE HELP.
