Hi there

My Macbook wifi keeps failing on me - it frequently drops connection to my network, can't find networks, says it's connected fine when it's not, logs out of my network and won't let me log back in (WPA2 password, says invalid password or connection timeout when the password is correct and sometimes eventually works).

I've tried deleting the com.airport.preferences files, PRAM'd a few times, turned airport on and off, but it's still intermittent and getting more frequent.

Is the airport card on its way out? What can I do?

About my mac:
Macbook 7.1
Mac OS X 10.6.3
2.4 GHz Intel core 2 Duo
4gb 1067 MHz DDR3

Airport:
Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x93)

Just now it's just stopped working and says "AirPort: Not configured". I'm using a different laptop to go online right now.

Is that a suicide note? What can I do now?

Any help would be really very much appreciated, thanks.

Your Mac's Specs
MacBook Pro 2011 2.4GHZ 4GB Ram 500GB HD
unless you wanted to take apart and replace your airport card yourself, go to the apple store and have them replace it :)
