hello,

Right, I've got a wee problem that I'll try explain as briefly as possible: My old powerbook G4 has long since died (the screen still works and the hard drive still seems to be making some noise) but I want to try resurrect it.

Basically I've got an old G4 powermac and I want to use the powerbook as the monitor for it. Is this possible?

As I said the powerbook is pretty well shot but I did manage to drag all the files off it using a firewire cable and connecting it to my current macbook (it shows up as an external hard drive)

Any help'd much appreciated!!:D :D

I've never heard of a laptop serving merely as a monitor for a computer. Perhaps someone else in here has done this before, but I'm almost positive this cannot be achieved.
