MS Remote Desktop Connection hanging

i got a problem with MS Remote Desktop Connection that is driving me mad. basically MS Remote Desktop worked fine on my powermac G5 for about a month and now all of a sudden it doesn't. When i click to load it the icon just keeps bouncing in the tray and the processor going to 100%. In the end i have just have to use activity monitor to quit the process. Now i have a G4 powerbook running remote desktop and it works fine and i've never had this problem with it. Strangly enough this problem first occured on my G5 about a month ago, and in the end i had to reinstall. after the reinstall it worked fine however when i went to use it this morning same exact problem.

anyone got any tips on what i can do to sort this out? i have done the usual reinstal tricks but still the same error,
