I have a sony vaio windows media center HTPC which records shows from satellite. How do I convert these video files to a format readable by ipod/iphone/ipod touch?
Which is the easiest software and what file format am I supposed to convert to?

From MS website, MCE records in

"Media Center uses a new file format called DVR-MS. DVR-MS creates an MPEG-2 file that includes metadata about the recorded program to be stored."

Thanks

Try iSquint or ffmpegX as free solutions. VisualHub is really good, but isn't free.
