Address Book and iCal libraries

Are there any shared libraries used to interact with Address Book and iCal?

The thing is, iTunes doesn't see my calendars or contacts when synching my iPod :( So, I thought I could replace those libraries with the ones in a working installation and see if it works.

Any ideas?
