I am wanting to upgrade my MacBooks hard drive capacity to at least 500gb from 320gb.

I have seen a few prices on amazon/eBay but I am wanting to know if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Is there much of a difference with 7200rpm and 5400rpm? If there's a performance difference?

I'm currently watching this on eBay if it's worth it: http://bit.ly/1ffIqPQ

Cheers.

Your Mac's Specs
MacPro, MacBook, AppleTV, iPhone, iPad etc :)
5400 is best for storage drives and yes theres a difference. How large it is depends on how you use your MB. The thing to make your MB fly is a SSD drive though. That is like night and day.
You could consider a say 120 or 240 gb ssd and then swap the dvddrive with an extra data/storage drive
