Hey guys (and girls),
I'm a film student at college, and everyone in my program got the same version of final cut pro off of a guy in second year. Only problem was we couldn't all use it at once because it had the same serial number.
So I decided to bite the bullet and purchase my own version of Final Cut Studio. I deleted everything Final Cut related from my MacBookPro and installed my legitimate copy.
Now the problem is, everything is still registered to that same version of Final Cut Pro, and I can't use it.
Is there a way I can switch the serial numbers to my new and legal copy? Do I have to reinstall it or something? Anything you guys can suggest would be greatly appreciated.
