I am new at this but need advise on a corrupted compress in my MacBook. I am operating with OS 10.6.7 and want to know if I should buy and download compressor 4. I use my MAC in my office to edit with FCP . I use simple video editing on the macbook and lots of photoshop/lightroom. I can't do any updates with the compressor gone but have a high enough OS to use Compressor 4 (just barely.) What should I do? All the specs mention FCP and I may get the FCP X, but not now.
