newbie really needs help

I got my 27'' i mac yesterday, I need help getting my address book and favorites onto the mac from an external wd 1 tb drive, i was able to switch the i tunes but nothing else please help need favorites to pay bills online soon. I plugged the wd in it shows a couple of folders with a bunch of numbers, it doesn't show what each folder is. any help would be appreciated.

Did your address book and favorites come from another Mac when you put them on the external? Or are they saved in Windows formats...?

they are from a sony pc non mac, I tried transfering photos also it showed 11000 plus but only 200 or so transfered and all kind of weird pictures of the wd hard drive, I feel so lost.

Would you be able to take a screenshot of the folder and show us how you backed it up?

It's hard when we don't know exactly how you backed them up to begin with...
