I have a MacBook Pro intel 2.33 17inch. And today it was fine, then literally I go to the shower and come back and my entire screen is inverted. Tried restarting, it did nothing. Can someone help me out here?

Here is a screen shot.

Hmmm, try hitting "ctrl" + "option" +"cmd" + "8" which is the keyboard shortcut to invert display colors.

maybe that will fix it?

Hmmm, methinks that the shortcut to invert the display colors didn't work if you still are seeing the distortion.

Now... the screen cap you posted is HUGE!!! :) and also looks fine for me...

If you have an external monitor try hooking into that and checking the display. You may have a problem with the panel itself or the cabling if the display appears normal on the external.

You could also try to recalibrate the display through the system pref menu... but I don't know if that will do it.

Oh btw, all these settings can be had in the Universal Access System Preference Pane. Including contrast.
