iBook ethernet help - OS 9

I can't connect to the internet suddenly.

It had worked just the other day, at another location. I just plugged it in and it went straight online. Now it simply does not even recognize anything ethernet related.

It seems my ethernet settings are gone. TCP/IP does not show anything about the ethernet, it seems it only recognizes dialup connections now.

I'm a new mac user and i am going to stick with mac

Maybe I just need to reinstall my ethernet settings, but I don't know how to do this.

Have you tried just re-entering your original settings (router addresses etc...)?
