Stick with Chrome?

I downloaded Chrome for my Macbook. I'm more familiar and comfortable with it. It has tabbed browsing and it remembers all of my bookmarks wherever I log in.

Any reason I should give Safari more time? Any caveats or provisos? Like the compatibility issues that Chrome does sometimes have- are those bad on the Mac?

Safari now has tabbed browsers and also has the ability to remember your bookmarks as well. This was part of the OS X Mavericks update.

Yeah but I can't use Mavericks on my old Macbook.

No, use whatever makes you happy. All the browsers have upsides and downsides so use what works best for you.

I need to use Safari because there are just some things I need to do regularly that Chrome will not do.

With Safari - get the Glims pugin - I haven't used Safari without it in years.
Saft is another Safari plugin - but not free.

Safari has had Tabs for as long as I can remember. It saves bookmarks also. Just saying.

Mavericks added TABs to the FINDER not Safari. Grin

Yeah, I agree with Dennis. For as long as I remember, Safari has had tabs and remembers bookmarks. The only advantage I see in using Safari is the GLIMs add on which makes searching much easier. Chrome is faster but still 32 bit for whatever reason Google has for keeping it that way.
