document is in the desktop, but i cannot see it.

HI there,

I think that one of my documents has gone 'beyond' the screen boundaries, and I can't reach it. It is there as I can see it in my HD...Can you please help me to take it back to the visible desktop area? Thanks

Not quite sure how that can happen but go to Desktop in Finder. Move the file in question to another folder - say Documents - then, if you really need it on the desktop, move it back

Perhaps the resolutions were changed, the file moved, then resolutions changed again; file no longer visible.
