Can anyone tell me if the illumination sensor on the back of the iPhone 4 can be controlled, or is it completely automatic? I want to be able to turn off the LED light while taking video if I choose to do so. Is that possible, or will the low-light sensor always turn the LED light on when it senses a dark or low-light situation?

Thanks!

when in video mode in the camera app, in the top left of the screen is a button with a picture of a lightning bolt "flash" - tap this, there are 3 options,

1] Auto
2] On
3] Off

Same applies when in picture mode

no problem. you're welcome.

if you open safari on your iphone and look in "bookmarks" the icon that looks like a book, there will be a bookmark for the iphone user guide, should you ever need it
