Bluetooth from Control Center

I have a bluetooth speaker in my house that I connect to sometimes but it doesn't connect automatically when I enable bluetooth via control center (iOS 7). I still have to navigate to settings > bluetooth in order to connect.

Is there a way to also connect to a bluetooth device from control center rather than just enabling/disabling bluetooth?

No, but your device should be connecting automatically. If you're trying to use the BT device with more than one iOS device, that could be causing the symptoms you describe.

Bingo. I guess that's the problem. Multiple people use the speaker in my house. Oh well!
