American App on UK machine?

Hey Guys,
quick query, Im thinking of getting my aunt in New York to buy some software for me on Amazon.com, and sending me litterally just the CD in an envelope to the UK, along with the serial.

My question is, are there any compatibility issues?

Will work just fine as application s are applications full stop. For example, Toast Titanium will work regardless if installed US, GB or here in Australia, subject to the com puter meeting specifications, of course.

The only thing you'll want to watch out for are license restrictions.
Adobe for example don't allow you to purchase a US license specifically for use outside of the US.

But technically there's usually no difference.
