Ive been trying to figure out whats going on with my girlfriends Macbook and why it wont power on. When I press the power key the green light flashes by the webcam and creates no sounds (hdd, fans, cdrom, etc). I checked the battery and it shows 3 green lights, so i assume that it has power, also when i plug it up to the wall the charger the led changes between green and orange at will. Ive been on the apple website and have tried a pram reset and a smc reset and nothing has changed. Im thinking it could be a problem with the HDD...anything im missing?
