iPhoto: Backup Issue

I restored a back up just made after I partitioned my HD. Well now iPhoto says that I can't open my current library using this version. But it is the latest version. What give's?

Try option clicking on the iPhoto icon. This will bring up a new window asking if you want to create a new library or open an existing. Try opening the backup you this way

Well that's got me farther in.. I'm trying to copy the pictures that were already on the HD from the backup to the "new" library I created. It's working now.. Ahhh.... Only 2600 pictures to go..
