Macbook & iMac - same RAM?

If I order RAM off of newegg, can I look under "laptop memory" for the iMac RAM? Is it the same as in the macbooks? SO-DIMM DDR2 667 PC5300?

Check Crucial.com. If you use the Memory selector tool, it will tell you exactly what type of memory your computer uses.

Looks like the imac uses 200 pin DDR2 667 PC2-5300. That's super special!

*ALL* Intel Macs except the Mac Pro, use EXACTLY the same spec of DDR2 ram.
