Syncing with itunes

I synced alot of music and apps, I went back to sync a few more music tracks and when I hit apply it went through the entire process. How do I sync single tracks having to sync my whole library.

It will always sync everything, but will only add new things if they are present. It doesn't reload everything every time, so there is not really a way of picking single items, as you would end up with just those things on your iPod and nothing else.
