Video Converter for Apple TV

I currently use Handbrake to convert all of my movies into H.264 for my Apple TV but, any movies converted look horrible and are macro-blocked. I've tried to up the bitrate and it after converting, it won't even add to my iTunes.

I just need a good program that will convert my movies without making them look pixely. Any recommendations would help.
