My iPhone 3gs cannot start with a black screen.

I have an iPhone 3gs. And i am upgrading my iPhone 3gs. But it cannot turn on. I have tried to plug my iPhone back into my computer. I hope i can start it by this way. But it is still black. Help with my iPhone.

Hey there, I've encountered the same problem earlier.What I did was I sync my phone to my computer and restore it.It works for me but all my stuff was gone.:Grimmace:

Have you tried restarting your 'phone?

Press the Home and Sleep/Wake switches and keep them pressed for at least 10 seconds. Don't release them until the Apple Logo appears which indicates the 'phone is restarting.
