I have a 13 inch macbook and need to replace the logic board. It is the current gen aluminum unibody (a1278). Will logic boards from other 13 inch macbooks of the same generation work or will only logic boards for a1278 models work?

if its the current gen it should still have warranty on it... let apple deal with it.

Agree with rob, make an appointment at an Apple Store and tell them what is wrong with it, they will either replace/ repair the logic board or give you a brand new shiny one!

It has a 1 year warranty on it from the date of purchase. Which is whenever the first owner bought it.
