Hi,

has anyone tried to attach an LTO-3 scsi tape drive to a MacBook Pro?

I have seen two different adapters:

the DuelAdapter which would require the use of an Adaptec PCMCIA 1460card. Where would I find a Mac OS driver ?

or

SCSI to Firewire adapter. This looks more promising

does anyone here have experience with either of these adapters, or know of a different one, or can direct me to other BB's where I can check.

thanks,

Those are the drives.

just need to find a way to connect them to a MBP.

all the scsi hardware / drivers I can find are Windows based or the 54mm not the 34mm slot.

looks like the driver isn't an issue if Apple is selling an LTO-3 which is most likely meant to be connected to a G5
