    Question Widescreen on TVOUT?
    Hay all

I have brought the TV-OUT for my MacBook but I can only get 4:3 resolutions I have had a search on the net and can't find any information about getting 16:9 resolutions out of it.

I am assuming that it isn't possible, but thought I would ask the worldly people here

Did you use the "Detect Displays" function under System Preferences -> Displays? If your TV uses DDE to communicate what resolutions it's capable of, clicking that button should yield you an available widescreen resolution choice in the list of resolutions.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
