    Thumb Drives
I use a thumb drive to transfer video files. I have found that my Mac does not show the background files and in order to delete the info, I have to put it in a pc. is there a setting that I can change to view all files on the thumb drive?

When you move video files there are background files that transfer with it but dont show up on Mac, but they do on PC.

Here's a description of what these files do. These files are present on the Mac but are normally invisible. They can safely be ignored.

Like Slydude stated those can be ignored. However, there are utilities you can use which will cause those files to not be created which is handy when copying to a PC or Smartphone other than an iPhone.
