I have bought a scanner from IRIS which does not work as I am unable to register the software. I have had a small amount of online help from their support team in Belgium. I am now trying to get my money back (although I would really prefer to keep the product, if only it worked). I have asked for the returns number required to make the return - but get no reply.
Does anyone know how to shift a large unresponsive company which has got my money?

Did you buy it direct from the IRIS store or from a reseller?

What country are you in

I am not sure what country you are in, but here in the UK you have the right to take a product back to whoever sold it to you if it is found unfit for purpose (i.e. it doesn't work as intended)

Any refusal on the sellers part can result in a complaint to trading standards (here in the UK)

If you still get no luck, then contact whatever standards body or consumer group in your country, that usually shifts a company into gear

Why are you unable to register the software? What exactly happens when you try?
