Printer says 'Offline,' won't print

In my old dorm my HP F4500 worked just fine with my macbook, I have leopard if that means anything. But since November when I moved to my new building and had to re set up my printer, it won't work. It always says it's offline, it's printed a few ink test sheets but never the papers I want it to.

I'm going to be updating to Snow Leopard soon (it's about time, I know) so will that make a difference in setting it up/it working? I'm not sure what to do.

When you say you re-set the printer did you edit all and started over it may still have your previous IP and DNS.

I worded that poorly, I meant that I just moved and so I had to set it up again (plug it in and do ink supply tests, etc)

I would edit all and start over just as if you bought it new.
