Concert quality recording mic?

I attend many events that I am trying to record with my Macbook Pro. I'm using the built in iSight, but the internal mic isn't really powerful enough to effectively pick up the level of sound at these events. I'm always around 35 yards back from the speakers, which give off high quality, crystal clear sound. The last time I tried to record with my internal mic, the sound was completely jumbled. Is there any relatively inexpensive external mic out there that would flawlessly record the sound? Thanks so much for any answers.

The Zoom H1 is a really capable mic. stereo. i heard a recording of goo goo dolls concert on one, and it was surprisingly clear.
plus it records to SD, no lugging the MBP everywhere you go.If you find a post helpful, don't forget to use the reputation system (top right of post.)
