    Basic RAID 1 for iMac?
I'm looking for a basic RAID 1 for my iMac, something like this:

FireWire RAID 1 Redundant Mirror Performance FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 Storage Solution NewerTech Guardian MAXimus

Does anyone have any experience with the above setup, or something similar. Any recommendations appreciated.

    Thanks
    ...Mike

    follow up question about RAIDs
In this basic RAID 1 system I was looking at:

FireWire RAID 1 Redundant Mirror Performance FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 Storage Solution NewerTech Guardian MAXimus

it doesn't say what HDs it uses, hence I don't know what to get to replace a drive that fails, how much it costs, etc.

Does a replacement drive have to be the same as the original, or can I stick any SATA drive in there? If not, what if the original drive is some off-brand no-name that's hard to find, then I'll be in trouble, right?

    Thanks,
    ...Mike
