Hello. I tried searching but didn't find anything. Sorry if it's here and I missed it. I run an internet radio station at my school (grades 6-12) and I want a larger hard drive so we can hold more music. The IT guy at my school recommends a 250GB external drive. But won't that mean that we'll have two music libraries? Won't that cause some problems?

Are we talking using iTunes by chance? I have many externals. Just be sure iTunes does not copy the music to the main library. I just add the songs from the other drives and as long as the drives are turned on they all play.

iTunes plays them right where they are, but the info of where the songs are is stored in the main iTunes library that is set up in itunes.

Yes, I'm referring to iTunes. Say I want to import a CD and put it on my external drive, how would I do it.
