Your Mac's Specs
MacBook Pro 17" LED-Backlite display, 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB memory, 512MB VRAM, 320GB HD
So I posted a few questions about Microsoft's new line of Bluetooth mice (Bluetooth 5000 and Bluetooth 8000) a few posts back but no one posted anything. I did however find this nice solution (besides the cost, they don't seem to sell this bluetooth mouse by itself)

a much less cosly solution (the combo is cheeper than most single bluetooth mice, it's on sale for $59.99 at my local Office Max)

Although not bluetooth :-( the keyboard is Mac/PC (according to the apple store, Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave - Apple Store (U.S.))

yeah, but it's not bluetooth...you have to use up a USB port...

actually i just found a decent mouse, the Microsoft wireless 3000 (not bluetooth, USB) it was $30 at BestBuy.

I've just tested it, and it works. Now I will return it so I can replace with a cheaper one from eBay

I bought a refurb MX revolution off eBay for $35 and it looks and works as if new. I highly recommend the mouse.
