OK. After I posted this, I tried unplugging my TV and plugging it back in, and it showed the Apple TV Menu, so it worked. Seems a bit annoying/drastic.. Does this happen to anyone else? And does the device always stay on, even when my TV is off?
I just got the Apple TV, set it up, browsed the Movie selection, previewed some stuff, then I switched to my Cable TV input, then switched back over to the Apple TV input, and the screen was black, but lit up, so the TV is on, but showing nothing. I tried switching inputs on the Apple TV, since I am using the HDMI method, my TV has two HDMI ports, I had no luck. I tried resetting the Apple TV, by unplugging and plugging back in the power cable, still no luck.
I got it to show back up on my iTunes list, it just shows it syncing my iTunes Music collection.
Also, I dont know if this is normal, but the Optical port on the back of the Apple TV, shows a red LED.. Not sure if thats normal or not.
