Hi, I want to use the Line-In port on my MacBook Pro for the microphone when using Skype but when it's plugged in no sound is picked up from the Line-In, can it be used for a microphone?
Edit: The microphone definitely works, I use it for Skyping on my PC
Edit2: After searching some more I don't think I should have made this in the OS section, looks like there's no way to get it to work with a normal headset microphone.
