27 inch IMac mid 2011 model not supported by Power Nap.

I have a 27 inch IMac mid 2011 model operating Yosmite. I purchased Back up schedule for time machine. However, my computer does not have Power nap. making this purchase useless. Can this be updated ?

No. I'm sure if you explain the situation to the developer (or Apple, if you bought from the Mac App Store), they'll refund your money.

Or you could buy a newer computer ... win/win for everyone!

Please read the link below. Your 2011 iMac does not support "Power Nap" for 2 reasons:

- It does not have flash memory.
- It is not a Mac portable computer with flash memory.
