Hi

I'm totally new to the Mac. I have just purchased a new machine with Tiger and have managed to set up and find my other machines (PC's) over my wireless network and link to them from the Mac, how does one keep a permanent link to them on the Mac desktop. If I turn off or if my PC's hibernate for instance I loose the link on my Mac.

Drag the icon from the desktop to the side of the dock that contains the trash can. (you will see a small line seperating the dock) Now when you login you should always have those connections available (if the remote computer is on that is)

If that is how you prefer to learn, sure. Personally I use the web. Google is our friend!
