I have been investigating the possibility of instalkling Fedora (Linux) on a separate drive on my Mac Pro. But the EFI is only 32-bit (even though the processors are 64-bit), and does not support the Fedora installation. Does anyone know of a workaround for this problem, or a way to upgrade the EFI?

Thanks. I have read of methods that are claimed to work, but I have no way to verify them. Let's see if anyone else has any input.

Can't be done will always be 32bit EFI.
