So I accidentally deleted my wifes iPhoto library from our macbook pro. I have mac keeper and have tried to recover the files, but its an insanely long process. I also tried iDisk but that was womp womb. I just want to extract jpg files or if there is away to recover the iPhoto library that would be great. I did not back up to time machine, I dumbed out, but has anyone recouped from this debacle? all help will be appreciated.

Give PhotoRec - CGSecurity a try to see if it will recover something for you. Oh, and do yourself a huge favor and get rid of MacKeeper..

Not having any sort of backup is hard to recover from..so good luck with that and get some sort of backup scheme (Time Machine being the easiest) going..
