Greetings all,
I have a 2002 G4 Quicksilver that I would like to hold onto and upgrade a bit.
Recently installed the newertechnology MaxPower processor and now Mac is not rebooting.
According to the instructions I need an updated firmware version of 4.2.8 which you can only get by operating OS 9 classic. Of course my mac was running 10.4 so I had someone install 9 but couldn't install the updated firmware so went back to original 10.4 and I tried the upgrade with NO success.
Is it a waste of time to upgrade this mac of mine or should I send it to the mac graveyard?
Any feedback would be extremely helpful. Thank you.
