Not sure where to post this thread, so please pardon me if I'm in the wrong place (& let me know where I should be), but here it is:
Trying to set up Mail on our 2 MBPs here at home, all account info is correct but, as I've read tonight seems to be a fairly common issue, the outgoing server isn't working. After reading several posts about ports being blocked, I thought of something else:
my iPhone will NOT send email IF I'm on the wifi network, I have to turn off wifi to send...are these two issues related????
Trying to retire the PCs once & for all, Mail is the only hang-up now. Tried all the solutions I've seen suggested, and am running out booze ...
