Hello
Days ago I bought OSX Lion from Applestore, the install did run fine. When inserted a Sandisk 4Gb from my D90 in the side slot, it was not detected, not showed in the desktop nor in disk utility. I addition to that, Nikonview NX2 had an abnormal behavior, that is that any click on a thumbnail caused other windows to be opened creating a messy desktop. Then I switched back to Snow Leopard and every thing was fine again. I'm quite scared of triying Lion any further.
Thanks for any help, Gianfranco

try iphoto or image capture in the application folder on your Lion osx should work.
I guess your main goal is to transfer pics from camera to mac.
also make sure you run software update after lion osx is installed.
The apple store osx you bought is probable 10.7
the latest should be 10.7.4

This was the clue. After the second install it came up upgraded to 10.7.4 and this fixed the bugs. Thanks a lot, Gianfranco
