Pics from FB to iPhoto

Been sent a large pile of pics to my FB page and I want to export them to a stick or to Iphoto and then to a stick?

Right/Ctrl click in the photo and you should get the Add Image to iPhoto Library option. If not use one of the Save As options.

Thanks, tried it but,
iPhoto opens, spinning wheel for a few seconds then Safari bounces in dock. Message in a small block over photo , 'Can't add image as Safari cannot communicate with iPhoto' ?

I've not done this before but trying it just now it works fine if iPhoto is already running.

If iPhoto is not running, then I get the same as you did. I think the problem is, is that Safari has tried to find iPhoto and not found it before it has finished opening, so gives up and shows the error message.

If it still doesn't work, then Right/ctrl click and use the Save As Image... option, then import to iPhoto afterwards.
