A year or so ago I downloaded some pictures off a friends flickr account. I deleted the files quite a while ago, and seeing as I'm not in touch with my friend anymore can not find hid flickr account with the pictures on. Now I would the like the pictures, for old times sake, but can not find them. Is there any sort of registry of the history of my downloads, that would at least give me the file names or a thumbnail of the picture? That would at least give a file name that I could search.

If not, do you know if there is any registry my internet history, regardless of whether I've deleted my history or not?

Also, I use Chrome, and have searched through my download history, but I've deleted my download history multiple times since I downloaded the photos, so nothing shows.

There is software that can recover deleted files IF they are in a recoverable state. Since you deleted the pictures "quite a while ago", then I think it's highly unlikely they are recoverable. You can always give it a try. Disk Drill can scan your drive for recoverable files… it's free to do the scan and you only have pay for the software to actually recover something. Be aware that you will get a lot of garbage results. The original file names likely are lost so the names on the hits you get will be junk too.
