Macbook pro crash Need Help!!!

My macbook pro crashed. I cannot boot, the display is only showing utility, I cannot restore and reformat the drive is locked. How can reformat my harddisc i have the mac OS X installation DVD?

I bought the lion on-line, after i reformat can i still download the lion without paying?

You won't have to re-purchase Lion if you re-download it with the same iTunes account you bought it with. Were you ever up and running on Lion? If so, try booting from the Recovery Partition:

If you want or need to use the original install disc... reboot while holding the OPTION key (same as for Lion Recovery) and select the DVD from the options.

One last thought... I'm concerned that you even crashed to begin with. Using the install disc that came with your Mac, boot from that and run the Apple Hardware Test.

And try verifying the disk; check SMART status; repair disk; verify/repair permissions, all from Disk Utility while booted from the install disc. This should all be available from the Lion Recovery partition also.
